Halloween 2012

Audrinna got a lot of candy for a little girl.  But she had a blast.

I felt bad for my nieces and nephew, because Audrinna was walking so slow sometimes.

But they all had a blast and Audrinna was tired after two hours of walking.

Next year we will probably take the wagon with us and see how that goes.

While the Daddys away, the baby WILL play!!

Last night was rough.  Not because my husband in a different state right now and I just couldn't get to sleep. Well I couldn't get to sleep, but that was Audrinnas fault!!!

So I already had it planned that we were going to have a girls night!! Sounds like so much fun!  Audrinna's new favorite show is Bubble Guppies.  We FINALLY got her a dvd so now she can watch them whenever!! So we popped that bad boy in.  All I wanted was about 10 minutes on the computer!! So about 8:45 I go in to her bedroom to find her passed out at the foot of her bed!!! She was lying on the floor.  So I went about taking her jeans off, to find that she had pooed.  Let me tell you, it really isn't that easy to clean her up when she is lying on her tummy!!!  Finally got her cleaned up and put into bed.

So I was super upset, but I knew she was tired!  I do what I do best, watch Netflix!!!  After getting to talk to my husband for a little bit, I decided that at midnight I was ready for bed.  Let me pause this for a minute.

My husband and I used to like watching Paranormal Activity until this creepy stuff started happening to us.  She can show up anywhere and sometimes she is just giving you this weird look almost like she is in a trans.  This always seems to happen around her bedroom.  We also have a dog that normally picks up on little things!!

So back to the story.  Its midnight the only light that is on is the one from the computer and the bathroom.  The dog is just chilling in our bedroom sleeping.  So I go to walk to the kitchen only to catch something out of the comer of my eye.  Its Audrinna standing outside of her bedroom holding all three of her blankets!!  We seriously stand there looking at each for like 30 seconds.  She doesn't move and at this point my heart is racing because I had really thought that she was sound asleep.  Freaked me out.  I said her name and she looked like she had snapped out of it and came running to me.

Yea that Audrinna gets to sleep with me, but let me give you the facts and see if you can put two and two together.  1. child hadn't really had a nap all day.  2. child falls asleep at 8:45.  3. child wakes up at 12.  What is the first thing you DON'T want to do after taking a 3 hour nap??? Not sleep!!!

I put her to bed with me anyways making sure she had her three blankets that she sleeps with and a fresh sippy.  THAT DID NOT WORK.  I kept falling asleep but it wasn't till 5 that she decided to go back to sleep.  The first thought that ran through my head was, yea maybe she will sleep in till noon than.  ummm WRONG!!!! oh so wrong.

She woke me up at 9!! AT 9 in the morning!!! REALLY?!?!  Ugh I have to work tonight.  I have no idea how I'm going to make it through that.  Well looks like this mother will be grabbing a blanket and try to get a cat nap during the day.  Hope your guys night was a lot better than mine!!

Wedding time!!!

We went to a wedding for a couple of our friends!! I was so excited to see these guys get married.  Even though bring a two year old meant that I would miss everything.  We showed up late to the ceremony and while I was changing Audrinna's diaper the cake was cut and the first dance was done.  We still had such a blast!!  I'm sorry I didn't get any pictures of the couple.  Audrinna was a little bit of a handful that night.  The funny thing was that was a good night also!!!

Audrinna's favs

Through trial and error... well lots of error.  I have found a couple things that keep Audrinna calm or not so cranky.  haha

Oh car rides which just driving 5 minutes is like world war 3, we have been listening to Carly Rae Jepsen.  Yes my two year likes this and as long as she isn't crying I don't really care.

I know that most people say that sitting your child down in front of a TV messes with... well I don't know.  We keep Audrinna's TV on all day.  No she does not watch it all day, but she has something in the background to listen to.  Bubble Guppies has been one of her favorites since it started on Nick Jr.  If it will give me 5 minutes to myself than yes I will turn her TV on.

She has fall in love with shakes!!! So that helps when I'm using it to diet!!! Make some for me and Audrinna gets half!!!

So we will keep doing this trial and error.  Yes I'm hoping we can find more stuff cause a two year olds seem to have short attention spans, at least mine does.

Sorry for no pictures.  My camera has been sitting in Tim's car and I keep forgetting to charge it.  Still no word on my iPhone yet.  :(

Hanging on by a thread

So this past month has been a struggle in our house.  Audrinna has pushed us in every which way and I have gotten to the point were I'm just at a loss.

Yesterday pushed the limits when she took my iPhone 5 and put it in a cup of soda.  Ugh!!!

Now she gets to the point were she just does not listen.  I know its the "terrible twos", but at this point I'm for sure we are not going to survive them.  When we go out in public people only get a slice of what goes on at home.  I feel bad for the people living above us sometimes.  It would make me wonder what is going on.

Audrinna running around to all of a sudden throwing herself on the floor even though nothing was said or done to her.  Then to hear her blood wrenching scream!!! Oh she does this scream it seems every time we are in public.  Example today when we went to get my phone switched so mine could get worked on.  All I wanted to do was tie her shoe and you would have thought someone had beat her.  Ugh!!!

Well I have caved in and am on the mission to grab self help books.  I have tried on my own or using the internet.  The best advise I've seen was someone said when she is screaming and acting out to remain calm and try to help them figure out what they want.  hahaha This person has never had a child than!!!!

I'm hoping that the next couple days calm down which mean we will have to stay at home for the rest of the week.  Looking for anymore reasonable advise if anyone has any!!!!

We started last night with changing her bed into a toddler bed.

She has loved this.  We had little to no trouble getting her to sleep last night!!!

Well Audrinna woke up at 6 A.M.  I'm not for that.  Well she made sure to show us her balloons. (pictures aren't very good seeings I was still half a sleep)

After letting Daddy sleep in, we finally went over to Hardee for lunch.  At this time Boo was in much need of a nap.  She hit her head which then let to a full blown out melt down.

We had a little cookout just involving the family!!  Audrinna had a blast swimming!!

How old are you going to be??

The top picture was taken by my sister right after Audrinna was born.  This is my favorite newborn picture of hers!!!

This was Audrinna 4 days old.  She spent all of her time in the nursery due to some things that had happened after delivery.  We were so excited to bring her home!!!

So for the past couple months we have been going around asking Audrinna how old she is going to be.

She always respond with a shout "TWO"

Well now we are in party mode!!

My sister rented a bounce house for her daughter's birthday and all the kids and some adults had a blast.

So I started researching bounce houses.  They are pretty cheap.  One I found is 120 for 4 hours.

I found this on Pinterest. Of course as one of the little side dishes.  We decided to have a cook out.

I thought this was a cute idea for center pieces!!!

I'm still in awe how fast she has grown.  She has been nothing but a joy in my life.  I wouldn't trade her for anything.
